Paris isn't just pastries, paintings, and pretty architecture. Paris also has science and technology, and the Musée des Arts et Métiers exhibits a range of historical examples of technological innovation. The exhibits are organized into seven areas: scientific instruments, materials, mechanics, construction, energy, communication, and transportation. As with an introductory science or engineering course, each exhibit starts with some history then shows the evolution of the field. The final exhibit, transportation, is in an especially beautiful space.
