On our day off we explored without backpacks, shopped without buying (our packs were already full), and enjoyed some good meals, like this one, where we watched a fellow prepare the Swiss specialty of warm raclette cheese. The Swiss cheese is heated and then the melted layer is scraped off and served with vegetables and dried meats.
