The Bosporus

It was a sunny day so we caught a ferry and took it up the Bosphorus, the strait that divides Europe from Asia and connects the Black Sea to the Mediterranean. The Bosporus cuts through Istanbul placing half the city in one continent, the other half in another.

We got off at the town of Anadolu Kavagi, which is almost to the Black sea, to walk and have lunch. I took a few photos. I saw signs warning not to photograph anything military so I didn't. We then took a ferry back the way we came, our eyes on the shoreline lined with homes, arriving in Istanbul just before dark.
