One evening (this is 2010) we walked to another part of town to eat and check out the night life. So we crossed a busy road then passed a ferry being loaded. Next we walked the length of the Galata Bridge and then up the hill on the other side to our busy destination. Along the way we passed the 5th-century Galata Tower.
