We're finally at the col. Greg warned us it would be a long day, and it was; it would turn out to be the longest day of the whole hike.
But we weren't done yet. The path forward, to Cabane de Prafleuri, goes to the right of that big lake and then a bit farther. One in our group was, by this time, struggling. So we re-distributed some of their pack between the rest of us and two of us went ahead to the cabane to ditch our packs and, if necessary, head back up. As it turned out, it wasn't necessary; we all made it to the cabane to enjoy dinner and a good sleep.
