While hiking up to Lagazuoi, a look back gave this view. A desolate space, above the tree line and with little greenery. A few patches of snow were remnants of winter. You can see a couple of trails skirting the right (southern) side of the mountain; the map shows them named le gallerie di Cresta and le gallerie del l'Anticima.
