We do a fair amount of walking. Where we are staying in Finikia is about 15 minutes into the heart of Oia, which is where we eat out and shop for groceries. Today we hiked in the opposite direction, part of the way to Fira. It is a trail that features lovely views though the trail itself is uneven and rocky. When we were here previously we walked from Fira to Oia and then took a public bus back to Fira. The public buses are large Greyhound-like travel busses that are sparkling new and painted completely white, like almost all the buildings on Santorini.
