I'm in Lima, first stop on a visit to Peru. We touched down just short of midnight which is too late to connect with another flight. So we scheduled in a couple days in Lima before we head to Puerto Maldonado for a stay at the Inkaterra Reserva Amazonica.
Photography wise this travelogue is a mixed bag. Lots of great possibilities but unfortunately it was my first outing with a DSLR—I'd picked up the Nikon only a few weeks before leaving for Peru. Knowing what I know now I see that I was using a poor choice of camera settings.
