The Musée de la Musique is a clever concept well executed, and it's a lot of fun. It consists of a large collection of musical instruments, arranged by type and time period. Best of all, many of the pieces are accompanied by commentary and music examples delivered by audio guide. The collection is spread over five floors in a spacious modern building, and it is interspersed with areas for live concerts. We listened to violin, harpsichord, harp, flute, and even gamelan, which I'd previously enjoyed at the Nyepi day parade (the parade of ogoh-ogohs) in Bali.

Today was also the last day of a temporary exhibition on the French musician Renaud, the title of which includes an explicative. He is a fellow unknown to me (but then I'm not French) who clearly draws the crowd.
